Jayne Freeman Evans
Chair of Governors
I have been a member of Moorfield School Governing Body for a period of 7 years and for the previous 12 months have been appointed by the Governing Body as Chair of Governors, a role which I take extremely seriously. The Governing Body has high expectations of everyone involved with the school. The children are at the centre of these expectations; developing in a culture engendering high aspirations and equality for all. I also chair the Executive Governance Committee, Finance Committee and Health and Safety Committee.
For over 25 years my professional career was in Environmental Health, gaining experience ranging from Food Hygiene to Health and Safety to Pollution Control and Licensing Enforcement, all areas in which I have been able to provide advice to the school. Three years ago I took a career change and attained a PGCE in Primary Education and currently work in the education field in Staffordshire.
I am a committed individual who will do all I can to help Moorfield be the best it can be.
